Students will participate in a variety of team and individual sports. Classes will stress the importance of student participation and sportsmanship while learning and performing various skills. There will be periodic days that are designated for physical fitness activities that will include running and calisthenic exercises.

Expectations:
· ALL students are expected to participate daily.
· ALL students are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship at all times. This includes having a positive attitude, being prompt, and using appropriate language.
· Students are expected to care for the equipment and locker room facilities.
· Students are expected to dress out in the appropriate uniform. This means wearing a t-shirt, athletic shorts, and comfortable, laced gym shoes. Both shirts and shorts have to be changed to receive the credit for dressing out that day.
Uniform:
● Students may wear any color t-shirt. The t-shirt must have sleeves and be school appropriate.
● School uniform shirts will not be acceptable in class.
● Students may wear athletic shorts/pants. The shorts must be appropriate length. (fingertips)
● Jeans, dress pants, khaki shorts are not allowed to be worn in class.
● Students MUST wear tennis shoes.
● Sandals, dress shoes, flats are prohibited in class.
● Hats may be worn outside only.
● Students receive points EVERYDAY for dressing out.
● Students will not receive partial points for uniform.
